2. Scope and customer categories
These GTC apply to contracts concluded through the Website for printed circuit boards (“PCBs”), stencils, PCB-and-stencil packages and any additional service expressly listed in an order.
A “Customer” is the person or organisation placing the order. A “Consumer” is a natural person acting outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Provisions expressly identified as consumer provisions apply only to Consumers. A business or professional purchaser is a “Business Customer”.
Certain Hungarian statutes use an extended definition for a specific purpose. Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.) applies its mandatory-guarantee regime not only to a Consumer but also to a micro, small or medium-sized enterprise buying a listed new durable consumer good while acting outside its trade, self-employment or business activity. Qualifying enterprises may also have access to conciliation in the cases defined by the Consumer Protection Act. Those statutory extensions apply notwithstanding the general definitions above. An enterprise buying for the purposes of its own trade, self-employment or business activity is not covered by them.
The Customer confirms that they are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into the contract. A person ordering for an organisation confirms that they are authorised to bind that organisation.
The GTC are available for download and storage before ordering. The contract is concluded electronically, is not individually filed as a paper contract, and is evidenced by the order data, these GTC and the confirmation emails. The language of the contract is English.
Where an offer is directed at consumers in a particular country, the mandatory pre-contractual information, warnings, prescribed control labels and consumer-rights information are additionally supplied in the language required by that country. A Consumer resident in Hungary receives the information and interface elements that Hungarian law requires to be given in Hungarian, including the prescribed labels of the electronic withdrawal function described in section 11.2.
We do not subscribe to a voluntary code of conduct unless one is expressly identified on the Website.
Mandatory statutory rights, particularly Consumer rights, are not excluded or restricted by these GTC.
3. Products and Customer specifications
PCBNow supplies individually manufactured printed circuit boards and stencils. PCBs are not prefabricated or held as stocked products: each PCB is manufactured specifically for the Customer from the Gerber files, production documents, dimensions, layer structure, material, surface finish, quantity and other parameters supplied or approved for that order. Stencils are likewise manufactured from the Customer's production data and selected parameters.
The product description, selected options, quantity, uploaded files, technical specifications, disclosed tolerances, production method, price, VAT treatment, estimated lead time and delivery method shown in the final order summary form part of the contract. Images and general descriptions are illustrative unless expressly stated to be binding specifications.
The Customer must review the Website's current technical limits and manufacturing guidance before ordering. Any particular standard, certification, testing method, material, finish, compliance status or intended use is binding only if it is available as an order option or we confirm it in writing before accepting the order.
4. Ordering and contract formation
Orders are placed through the Website. The Customer selects the product and options, uploads the required files, enters billing and delivery data, reviews the order summary, accepts the GTC and submits an order with an express payment obligation.
Before submission, the Customer can identify and correct input errors using the edit, back, cart and account functions. The Customer is responsible for checking all data, files, layers, units, dimensions, quantities, addresses and contact details.
Submitting an order is the Customer's binding offer to purchase. An automatic email acknowledging receipt only confirms that our system received the order; it is not acceptance unless it expressly says that the order has been accepted. The contract is concluded when we send an order-acceptance or production-confirmation email, or when we begin performance, whichever occurs first.
We acknowledge an electronically submitted order without undue delay and no later than 48 hours after it reaches our system. If an acknowledgment does not reach the Customer within 48 hours, the Customer is released from the offer or contractual obligation as provided by section 6(2) of Act CVIII of 2001. This does not prevent the parties from subsequently concluding a new contract.
The final order control is labelled so that it unambiguously communicates a payment obligation. Optional paid extras are not preselected. The Customer can download or otherwise store the GTC before ordering, and the version accepted with the order is supplied or made available on a durable medium.
We may request missing information, correct an obvious pricing or technical error with the Customer's agreement, or reject an order before acceptance. If we reject an order that has already been paid, we will refund the amount received without undue delay using the original payment method where possible.
Until SensNet accepts the order, a Consumer who submitted the offer may withdraw that offer by notifying info@pcbnow.eu. Following contract conclusion, cleared payment and receipt of complete production documents, SensNet normally releases the order to custom production immediately and does not wait for 14 days. The notice displayed before order submission expressly informs the Consumer that the PCB or stencil is manufactured to their specifications and is therefore excluded from the ordinary 14-day withdrawal right under section 29(1)(c) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.). This notice explains a statutory exception; it is not presented as a waiver of rights that the Consumer otherwise has.
Electronic orders and acknowledgements are deemed received when accessible to the recipient. The Customer must provide an accurate email address and check spam or filtering folders.
5. Manufacturing files and Customer responsibilities
The Website currently accepts the file formats and upload method stated on the relevant product page. The Customer must provide complete, readable, unambiguous and technically valid manufacturing data.
The Customer represents and warrants that:
- they own or are authorised to use, reproduce and manufacture every design, file, mark and other material supplied to us;
- the order does not infringe intellectual property, trade-secret, privacy or other third-party rights;
- the goods will not be used unlawfully, deceptively, in counterfeit products, or contrary to applicable export-control or sanctions rules;
- all selected parameters correspond to the uploaded design and intended use; and
- they will not upload malware or content unrelated to a genuine order.
The Customer retains ownership of their manufacturing files. The Customer grants us a limited, non-exclusive licence to copy, analyse, adapt for manufacturability, transmit to manufacturing subcontractors, and otherwise use the files solely to quote, manufacture, test, deliver, support and resolve claims concerning the order. We will treat non-public manufacturing files as confidential and require relevant subcontractors to protect them.
Our automated or manual file review is a manufacturability check, not an engineering, safety, regulatory or fitness-for-purpose validation. Unless separately ordered in writing, we do not verify circuit functionality, electrical design, component compatibility, product safety or the Customer's intended application.
We are not responsible for a defect that reproduces an error, ambiguity, omission or mismatch in the Customer's approved file or selected parameter, provided the delivered goods otherwise conform to the contract. This does not exclude liability for our failure to follow the agreed data or for mandatory Consumer remedies.
6. Materials, finishes and regulatory compliance
Available materials and surface finishes are shown during configuration. The current PCB configurator includes leaded HASL and separately identified RoHS-oriented options such as lead-free HASL and ENIG.
The Customer is responsible for selecting a finish and material suitable for the intended product and market. A leaded option is not represented as RoHS compliant. If the Customer requires compliance with Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS), REACH, halogen-free requirements, UL recognition, conflict-mineral reporting or another standard, the requirement must be selected where offered or agreed by us in writing before order acceptance.
No certificate of conformity, material declaration or test report is included unless expressly stated in the order. Nothing in this clause limits our duty to supply goods that conform to the agreed description.
6A. Manufacturing outside the European Union
PCBNow's PCBs and stencils are manufactured by specialist subcontract manufacturers outside the European Union, predominantly in the People's Republic of China. SensNet selects and instructs the manufacturer, sends the Customer's production documents needed for manufacturing, arranges transport and customs clearance, and imports the finished goods into the European Union.
The Customer's contract is solely with SensNet Kft. The non-EU manufacturer is not the Customer's seller, and the Customer is not required to pursue the manufacturer for a conformity, warranty or guarantee claim. For goods imported into the EU by SensNet, SensNet acts as EU importer and remains responsible to the Customer for proper contractual performance and for handling the claims described in section 12.
SensNet places on the EU market only products that it has determined may be lawfully marketed and that comply, as supplied, with the EU requirements applicable to the relevant bare PCB or stencil, taking account of the Customer-selected material, finish, declared characteristics and any expressly disclosed limitation. This commitment does not represent a leaded finish as RoHS compliant and does not certify the Customer's downstream assembled equipment or its particular intended use.
6B. Product safety, identification and traceability
Where Regulation (EU) 2023/988 or other product-safety legislation applies, SensNet performs the obligations applicable to it as EU importer and, where the legal conditions are met, as manufacturer or other responsible economic operator. Before placing a product on the market, SensNet verifies the applicable conformity, identification, traceability, documentation, instruction and safety-information requirements and does not place a product on the market if it knows or has reason to believe that the product is unsafe or non-compliant.
The online offer displays clearly and visibly, before order submission:
- the product identification, including an image and type, batch, project or other identifier appropriate to the product;
- the manufacturer's name or registered trade name and postal and electronic address;
- where the manufacturer is outside the European Union, the name and postal and electronic address of the responsible economic operator in the EU; and
- warnings and safety information required for the destination market in a language consumers can easily understand.
Because the subcontract manufacturer can depend on the technical capabilities required for the order, its legally required name and postal and electronic contact details, together with SensNet's importer details, are shown in the offer/order information or accompanying documentation for the relevant product where applicable.
When goods are placed on the market under the SensNet or PCBNow name, or SensNet otherwise qualifies as manufacturer, SensNet performs the statutory manufacturer obligations. Use of a manufacturing subcontractor does not transfer those obligations to the Customer.
The Customer must disclose an intended use or destination-specific requirement that is not reasonably apparent from the order, particularly for medical, automotive, aerospace, child-use, safety-critical or regulated equipment. This duty does not remove any statutory product-safety obligation of SensNet or another economic operator.
The Customer must preserve the product, order and batch identifiers needed for traceability and promptly report a suspected safety incident to info@pcbnow.eu. SensNet may provide warnings, suspend supply, contact affected Customers, withdraw or recall goods, and cooperate with authorities where required. A safety recall or mandatory corrective measure is not limited by the ordinary contractual liability limits.
7. Prices, VAT and invoices
Prices are stated in euros unless the Website says otherwise. Where an offer is directed at consumers in Hungary, the selling price and any unit price required by law are also indicated in forints, marked with the name of the currency or the abbreviation "Ft", as section 14 of Act CLV of 1997 on consumer protection requires. For a Consumer, every selling price and unit price required by law is displayed as the total price including VAT. A net price may additionally be displayed for Business Customers only if the gross Consumer price remains clear and unambiguous. Where the nature of a custom configuration means that the final price cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, the calculation method and the possibility of additional charges are stated before ordering.
Before the Customer submits an order, the checkout displays the total payable amount, including applicable VAT, delivery charges and every other mandatory charge that can reasonably be calculated. A Consumer is not required to pay an additional charge that was not properly disclosed before the order.
Where an advertised Consumer price reduction is subject to the preceding- price rule, the reference price is the lowest price applied by PCBNow during the 30 days before the reduction, or the shorter statutory period applicable to a product offered for less than 30 days. Personalised quotations and genuine quantity-based price structures are identified as such and are not presented misleadingly as time-limited reductions.
VAT treatment depends on the delivery destination, Customer status and a valid VAT number. A Customer requesting an intra-EU exemption or reverse charge must provide a valid EU VAT number and any evidence reasonably required. If an exemption cannot lawfully be applied, VAT will be charged.
For deliveries outside the European Union, the recipient is responsible for import duties, local taxes, customs-clearance charges and compliance with import requirements unless the checkout expressly states that they are included.
We issue an electronic invoice to the billing or invoice email address provided by the Customer. The Customer agrees to receive invoices electronically and must keep billing and VAT details accurate.
An obvious system or typographical error does not bind either party. We will inform the Customer before acceptance and offer the correct terms or cancel and refund the order.
8. Payment and Barion
The supported payment methods are bank transfer and payment through Barion. The method actually available for a particular order, its due date and any lawful charge are displayed at checkout. We may require payment before accepting or beginning production.
Payment through Barion may be completed with a Barion Wallet balance or an eligible bank card. The card brands and any additional, device-dependent methods are those shown by Barion's current official accepted-payment-method banner and on the Barion Smart Gateway for that transaction. Apple Pay, Google Pay or another optional funding source must not be advertised unless it is enabled for the PCBNow Barion shop and is actually displayed to the payer. Bank transfer offered directly by SensNet is separate from Barion.
Barion payments are executed through the Barion system. The merchant does not receive or store bank-card or other payment credentials. Barion Payment Zrt., the service provider, is an institution supervised by the Central Bank of Hungary; its licence number is H-EN-I-1064/2013.
Barion Payment Zrt. is an independent controller for its payment and fraud-prevention processing. Its registered office is 1117 Budapest, Irinyi József utca 4-20, 2nd floor, Hungary; company registration number 01-10-048552. Further information is available in Barion's Privacy Notice.
A successful payment authorisation does not itself mean that we accepted the order. If payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend acceptance or performance. Refunds are normally made to the original payment method.
SensNet does not charge a Consumer a payment-method fee exceeding the cost borne by SensNet for using that method. No payment or optional service is added through a preselected control.
9. Production, changes and cancellation
The estimated production lead time is shown in the product configuration and order summary. It begins only after:
- the contract has been concluded;
- cleared payment or agreed credit terms are available;
- required files and data are complete; and
- any manufacturability issue has been resolved.
The Customer must request a change or cancellation immediately by emailing info@pcbnow.eu with the order number. Because custom production may be committed rapidly, a change or voluntary cancellation is effective only if we confirm it in writing. We may charge objectively incurred and non-recoverable costs where permitted by law.
For clarity, a cancellation request made after acceptance of a custom PCB or stencil order is not an exercise of the statutory 14-day withdrawal right. SensNet will nevertheless try to stop production when reasonably possible. If it agrees to a voluntary cancellation, the confirmation states any manufacturing, material, tooling, transport or other non-recoverable cost that must be paid.
If we identify a file or parameter problem, production may be paused while we request clarification. A revised file may require a new review, price or lead time. If the Customer does not provide necessary information within a reasonable deadline stated in our message, we may cancel the affected order and refund any balance after deducting costs that the Customer is legally required to bear.
10. Delivery, risk and title
The delivery services normally offered are GLS as the primary delivery service within Hungary and the European Union, and Spring GDS as the economy delivery service within the European Union. Availability for the destination, estimated charges and delivery times are shown at checkout. Further information appears on the Shipping and Payment page.
An indicated production or delivery time is an estimate unless expressly confirmed as a fixed deadline. We will deliver within the agreed period. For a Consumer order with no agreed delivery time, delivery is due without undue delay and no later than 30 days after conclusion of the contract.
If SensNet does not deliver at the agreed time, the Consumer may require delivery within an additional period appropriate to the circumstances. If that period expires without delivery, the Consumer may terminate the contract. No additional period is required where SensNet refused delivery, the agreed time was essential in view of all the circumstances, or the Consumer informed SensNet before contracting that delivery by that time was essential. Following lawful termination, amounts paid for the affected goods are refunded without undue delay.
The Customer must provide a complete and accessible address and cooperate with customs and the carrier. We are not responsible for delay caused by incorrect Customer data or a failure to provide required cooperation, but we will take reasonable steps to mitigate the effect.
For a Consumer, risk passes when the Consumer or a nominated third party other than the carrier takes physical possession. If the Consumer independently commissions a carrier that we did not offer, risk passes when the goods are handed to that carrier. For a Business Customer, risk passes when the goods are handed to the first carrier unless the order confirmation states otherwise.
Ownership passes only after we receive all amounts due for the goods, to the extent retention of title is permitted by applicable law.
The Customer should inspect the package promptly. Visible transit damage or shortage should be recorded with the carrier and reported to us with photos. Failure to make a carrier record does not remove mandatory Consumer rights.
11. Consumer right of withdrawal
11.1 Custom goods
Under section 29(1)(c) of Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), a Consumer has no statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for a non-prefabricated good made on the Consumer's instructions or for a clearly personalised good. Every PCB and stencil supplied through PCBNow is produced for the particular order from the Consumer's uploaded production documents and individually selected specifications. It is not a stocked or prefabricated item and cannot reasonably be resold as an ordinary stock product. PCBNow PCBs and stencils therefore fall within this statutory custom-goods exception.
The exception applies to the custom product because of its objective nature and the way it is manufactured. Production normally begins immediately after contract conclusion, cleared payment and completion of the production data; SensNet does not wait for the ordinary 14-day period. No separate purported “waiver” creates the exception. The Consumer receives clear notice of the exception before submitting the order and in the order confirmation.
The exception concerns cancellation without cause. It does not remove the Consumer's rights where goods are defective, non-conforming, delivered late, or another statutory termination right applies.
11.2 Non-custom goods
This subsection does not apply to the custom PCBs and stencils described above. If PCBNow separately sells a standard, prefabricated stocked good that is not covered by an exception, a Consumer may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days.
The period expires 14 days after the day on which the Consumer or their nominated third party other than the carrier receives the good. For several goods ordered together but delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last good; for a good consisting of several lots or pieces, from receipt of the last lot or piece; and for regular delivery of goods during a defined period, from receipt of the first good.
The Consumer may email an unambiguous withdrawal statement to info@pcbnow.eu or send it to our registered office. The model form in Appendix B may be used but is not mandatory. It is sufficient to send the statement before the deadline.
For a contract to which a statutory withdrawal period actually applies, the Website makes a clearly visible and easily accessible electronic function continuously available throughout that period. The function is not required for a custom PCB or stencil contract for which section 29(1)(c) excludes the withdrawal right and no withdrawal period exists. For Hungarian consumers the function is labelled “elállás a szerződéstől” and its submission control is labelled “elállás megerősítése”; an English translation may be displayed alongside them. The function allows the Consumer to state the decision to withdraw, give their name, identify the contract and specify the electronic channel or address at which confirmation is to be received. It is available without requiring login, including for guest orders.
After submission, SensNet sends an acknowledgment without undue delay on a durable medium. The acknowledgment contains the withdrawal statement and its submission date and time. The function is an additional method and does not prevent withdrawal by email, post, the model form or another unequivocal statement.
The Consumer must return the good without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us. The deadline is met if the good is sent before it expires. Unless we offered to bear it, the direct return cost is borne by the Consumer. The Consumer is responsible only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the good.
We will reimburse payments received for the withdrawn good, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery we offered, no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal statement. Any additional delivery cost resulting from the Consumer's choice of a more expensive delivery method is not reimbursed. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the good or the Consumer supplies evidence of return, whichever occurs first. We use the original payment method unless the Consumer expressly agrees otherwise and incurs no fee.
The model withdrawal statement is set out in Appendix B. Its use is optional; any unequivocal statement is sufficient.
Withdrawal is not the way to report a fault. A defective, damaged or incorrect good should be reported under section 12.4 with the order number, affected quantity, a description of the problem and reasonable supporting evidence. Using the withdrawal form instead does not restrict the Consumer's statutory remedies.
12. Conformity warranty, product warranty and guarantee
The terms below describe three different legal rights. They do not replace or restrict mandatory rights under the Hungarian Civil Code, Government Decree 373/2021 (VI. 30.), Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.) or other applicable legislation.
12.1
Conformity warranty against SensNet
(kellékszavatosság)
SensNet is responsible for supplying goods that conform to the contract. A Consumer may require repair or replacement unless the chosen remedy is impossible or would impose disproportionate additional cost compared with the other remedy, having regard to the statutory factors. Repair or replacement is performed free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. "Free of charge" covers the costs of bringing the goods into conformity, in particular postage, carriage, labour and material costs. Where goods had already been installed in a manner consistent with their nature and purpose before the lack of conformity became apparent, the obligation to repair or replace includes the removal of the non-conforming goods and the installation of the replacement or repaired goods, or the cost of that removal and installation.
The Consumer may request a proportionate price reduction or terminate the contract in the cases provided by law, including where repair or replacement was not completed, the defect recurs, the defect is sufficiently serious, or SensNet has made clear that it will not bring the goods into conformity within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience. The Consumer may not terminate for an insignificant defect; SensNet bears the burden of proving that the defect is insignificant.
The Consumer must communicate a defect without delay after discovering it. A communication within two months of discovery is deemed timely. For new movable goods the conformity-warranty limitation period is generally two years from delivery. A lack of conformity recognised within one year after delivery is presumed to have existed at delivery unless that presumption is incompatible with the nature of the goods or defect.
The claim is made against SensNet Kft. Evidence of the order or payment can be used to prove the contract.
12.2 Product warranty against the manufacturer or distributor
(termékszavatosság)
For a defect in movable goods, a Consumer may choose to pursue the conformity warranty above or a product-warranty claim against the manufacturer or distributor under the Hungarian Civil Code. Under product warranty, the Consumer may request repair or replacement.
A product is defective if it does not meet the quality requirements in force when it was placed on the market or lacks the properties in the manufacturer's description. A product-warranty claim may be exercised within two years after the manufacturer placed the product on the market, after which the right is lost. The Consumer must prove that the defect existed at that time. For this purpose the Hungarian Civil Code treats both the producer and the distributor of the product as manufacturer.
Because PCBNow's goods are manufactured outside the European Union, a Consumer who does not wish to pursue a non-EU producer may instead rely on the conformity warranty against SensNet under section 12.1. SensNet does not require a Consumer to approach the manufacturer first.
The manufacturer is exempt if it proves that the product was not manufactured or marketed in its business activity, the defect was not discoverable according to the state of science and technology when placed on the market, or the defect resulted from applying mandatory legislation or an official requirement. Claims may be pursued in parallel on different legal bases, but the Consumer cannot obtain duplicate performance for the same defect.
12.3 Mandatory or
voluntary guarantee (jótállás)
A statutory mandatory guarantee under Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.) applies only if an ordered item is a new durable consumer good listed in the annex to that decree and reaches the statutory price threshold. Besides a Consumer, the decree also protects a micro, small or medium-sized enterprise that buys such a good while acting outside its trade, self-employment or business activity.
For a good within the decree, the guarantee period is two years for a selling price of HUF 10,000 or more but not exceeding HUF 250,000, and three years above HUF 250,000. These periods are forfeiture periods, subject to the statutory exception. The guarantee period runs from delivery of the good or, where SensNet or its agent performs the installation, from installation.
The statutory repair, replacement and refund rules, including the special rules for an item that cannot be repaired, is not repaired within 30 days, or fails again after three repairs, apply in full. Where a guarantee certificate is required, SensNet supplies it in Hungarian, at the latest on delivery of the good; it may be made available on an electronic durable medium unless the Consumer requests otherwise, and for lower-priced goods the invoice or receipt serves in its place to the extent the decree so permits.
PCBNow does not provide an additional voluntary guarantee unless a product page, order confirmation or separate guarantee statement expressly says so. A guarantee does not affect the Consumer's statutory conformity or product- warranty rights. During a guarantee period SensNet is released from guarantee liability only if it proves that the cause of the defect arose after performance.
12.4 Making and processing a claim
Contact info@pcbnow.eu and provide the order number, affected quantity, a precise description and reasonable supporting photos, measurements or files. SensNet may request return or inspection where reasonably necessary and bears the cost where required by law.
SensNet prepares the statutory protocol for a Consumer's conformity-warranty or guarantee claim, gives a copy without delay, and keeps it for three years. If SensNet cannot decide on the claim when it is reported, it sends its reasoned position, including conciliation information in case of rejection, within eight days in an evidentiary form. SensNet seeks to complete repair or replacement within 15 days and informs the Consumer of the expected duration if it will take longer.
Business Customer claims are governed by the Hungarian Civil Code and any express order-specific warranty.
13. Complaints
Complaints may be submitted:
- by email to info@pcbnow.eu;
- by telephone at +36 1 988 9039 (English-language customer service); or
- by post to SensNet Kft., 1139 Budapest, Tahi utca 30, 2nd floor, door 4, Hungary.
An oral Consumer complaint is examined immediately and remedied where possible. If the Consumer disagrees with the handling or immediate investigation is not possible, SensNet prepares a protocol and supplies a copy as required by law. A telephone complaint receives a unique identifier.
We investigate a written Consumer complaint and send a reasoned written response in an evidentiary form within 30 days after receipt. If an electronic complaint form is provided, receipt is acknowledged without delay at the electronic address provided by the Consumer.
If a complaint is rejected, the response identifies the competent consumer-protection authority or conciliation body, gives its address, telephone number, internet contact and postal address, and states whether SensNet has made a general declaration of submission under section 36/C of Act CLV of 1997 on consumer protection. SensNet has not made such a general declaration of submission; this does not affect its statutory duty to cooperate in a conciliation procedure. Protocols of oral complaints, written complaints and copies of substantive responses are retained for three years and presented to the authority on request.
The consumer-protection authority is the government office competent for the Consumer's place of residence or stay. For SensNet's registered office the competent office is:
Budapest Főváros Kormányhivatala, Fogyasztóvédelmi
Főosztály
Address: 1117 Budapest, Prielle Kornélia utca 4/B, Hungary
Telephone: +36 1 450 2598
Email: fogyasztovedelem@bfkh.gov.hu
Website: https://kormanyhivatalok.hu/
The contact details of every county government office are published at https://kormanyhivatalok.hu/, and general consumer-protection information is available from the National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority at https://nkfh.gov.hu/.
14. Conciliation and dispute resolution
We aim to resolve disputes directly. A Consumer should first contact us at the details above.
The competent conciliation body is generally the body for the Consumer's Hungarian residence or stay. If the Consumer has neither in Hungary, competence is generally based on the registered office of SensNet or its relevant representative. At the Consumer's request, another body identified in the application may also become competent where the law permits.
The body competent according to SensNet's registered office is:
Budapesti Békéltető Testület
Address: 1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99, 1st floor, room 111
Postal address: 1253 Budapest, P.O. Box 10
Email: bekelteto.testulet@bkik.hu
Telephone: +36 1 488 2131
Website: https://bekeltet.bkik.hu/
We are required to cooperate in an eligible conciliation procedure: SensNet sends the statutory response document and takes part in the hearing as required by law. SensNet has not made a general declaration of submission to the decision of a conciliation body under section 36/C of the Consumer Protection Act. From 1 January 2026, qualifying Hungarian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises may also initiate conciliation in the limited cases specified by the Hungarian Consumer Protection Act, including qualifying retail product disputes.
The complete regional list and territorial coverage appear in Appendix A below. Current general information and online case initiation are also available at https://bekeltetes.hu/.
The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued and its governing regulation repealed with effect from 20 July 2025; therefore no obsolete ODR-platform link is provided.
Consumers may also contact the competent consumer-protection authority, whose contact details are given in section 13, and may bring proceedings before a competent court.
15. Liability
Nothing in these GTC excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, intentional harm, or liability under mandatory Consumer law.
We are not liable for loss caused by:
- a Customer design error or unapproved intended use;
- a mismatch between an uploaded file and selected parameter that we could not reasonably identify;
- unlawful use or incorporation of the goods;
- the Customer's failure to follow handling, storage or technical requirements; or
- a third-party service outside our reasonable control,
to the extent the loss was not caused by our breach and exclusion is permitted by law.
For a Business Customer only, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, production, business, contracts or data, except where caused intentionally or where exclusion is prohibited. Our aggregate liability to a Business Customer arising from one order is limited to the net amount paid for that order, except for liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
PCBs and stencils are components, not complete end products. The Customer is responsible for validating the finished system, safety, certification and regulatory compliance before use or market placement.
16. Events beyond reasonable control
Neither party is liable for delay caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disaster, war, epidemic restriction, government measure, carrier network disruption, major utility outage or supply-chain interruption, provided the affected party promptly informs the other and takes reasonable mitigation steps.
This clause does not require a Consumer to accept indefinite delay. Mandatory rights concerning additional performance periods, termination and refunds remain available.
17. Data protection
We process personal data as described in the Privacy Notice. Payment and fraud-prevention data may also be processed independently by Barion.
Manufacturing files should contain only information required for production. The Customer must not include unnecessary personal data or third-party confidential information.
18. Changes to these GTC
The version accepted when an order is submitted governs that order. We may amend the GTC prospectively for legal, technical or business reasons. Amendments do not retroactively alter an existing order unless required by law or expressly agreed by both parties.
19. Governing law and final provisions
Hungarian law governs the contract. For a Consumer habitually resident in another country, this choice does not deprive the Consumer of mandatory protections that would apply under conflict-of-law rules.
The courts having jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. No exclusive-jurisdiction term in these GTC restricts a Consumer's statutory right to sue or be sued in the legally competent forum.
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. The invalid provision is replaced only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Appendix A — Hungarian regional conciliation bodies
Contact data checked on 30 July 2026 against the current regional list. The Consumer should use the body for their residence or stay, subject to the competence rules in section 14.
