Cookie Policy

Publication date: 2 August 2026.

This Cookie Policy explains how SensNet Kft. uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.pcbnow.eu/ (“Website”). It forms part of the PCBNow Privacy Notice.

1. Who operates the Website?

Short name: SensNet Kft.

Company registration number: 01-09-180989
Tax number: 24762339-2-41

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on a device when a website is visited. They can be session cookies, which expire when the browser is closed, or persistent cookies, which remain until their stated expiry or deletion. First-party cookies are set for the Website's domain. Third-party technologies are provided by another organisation.

Pixels, tags, local storage and software-development tools can perform similar functions. References to “cookies” in this policy include these technologies where appropriate.

Strictly necessary technologies are used without consent where they are required to transmit a communication, provide a function expressly requested by the visitor, keep the Website secure, prevent fraud, or maintain the shopping session.

The storage of information on a visitor's device, or access to information already stored there, is governed by section 155(4) of Hungarian Act C of 2003 on electronic communications in addition to the GDPR. Consent is required unless the operation is strictly necessary to provide an information-society service expressly requested by the visitor. “Strictly necessary” is interpreted narrowly and does not include ordinary analytics, advertising or social-media measurement.

All optional analytics, advertising, social-media and personalisation technologies are disabled by default. They are activated only after the visitor has made a freely given choice through the cookie banner.

The banner provides equally accessible options to:

  • Accept all optional cookies;
  • Reject non-essential cookies; and
  • Manage settings by purpose.

Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent access to the Website or the checkout. Consent can be changed or withdrawn at any time through the permanently available Cookie settings link in the Website footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

The Website records the consent selection so that it can respect and demonstrate the choice. The banner is shown again when the purposes or providers materially change and, in any event, no later than 13 months after the previous choice.

4. Cookies and technologies used

The exact lifetime can be shortened by browser settings, deletion, provider changes or the end of a session. The consent manager's current list shown in Cookie settings takes precedence if a provider changes a technical cookie name.

4.1 Strictly necessary

Provider / technology Typical name Purpose Lifetime
PCBNow / OpenCart session OCSESSID Maintains the cart, login and shopping session Session
PCBNow language language Remembers the visitor's language selection Up to 30 days
PCBNow currency currency Remembers the displayed currency Up to 30 days
Consent manager SensNet/consent platform Stores the visitor's consent or rejection and the policy version Up to 13 months
Barion Base Pixel ba_vid, ba_vid.[shop-id] Barion fraud prevention; identifies a browser across sessions and, for the shop-specific variant, links the identifier to this merchant Up to 1.5 years from the latest update
Barion Base Pixel ba_sid, ba_sid.[shop-id] Barion fraud prevention; identifies the current browser session and, for the shop-specific variant, links the session to this merchant Up to 30 minutes
Google reCAPTCHA provider cookies and local storage Protects registration, contact and return forms from automated abuse According to Google's current retention settings

SensNet's legal basis for necessary session and fraud-prevention processing is performance of requested services and its legitimate interest in securing the Website, orders and payments. Necessary technologies cannot be switched off through the consent panel, but the browser may block them; doing so can prevent cart, account, form or payment functions from working.

The Barion Base Pixel is used only for fraud prevention unless SensNet has separately contracted for and implemented the Full Barion Pixel. Barion Payment Zrt. independently determines the data processing performed through its pixel and payment service. More information is available in Barion's privacy notice.

Provider / technology Typical name Purpose Typical lifetime
Google Analytics 4 _ga Distinguishes visitors for aggregated usage measurement Up to 2 years
Google Analytics 4 _ga_RJPTGD4TJJ Maintains and counts sessions for PCBNow's measurement property Up to 2 years

Google Analytics must not load or send measurement data before analytics consent. SensNet uses the resulting statistics to understand Website performance and improve content and ordering flows. The legal basis is the visitor's consent.

Provider / technology Typical name Purpose Typical lifetime
Google Ads _gcl_au and related identifiers Measures advertising conversions and, where enabled, supports advertising attribution Up to 3 months
Full Barion Pixel, if separately enabled BarionMarketingConsent.[shop-id] and associated pixel events Marketing measurement and personalisation offered under a separate Barion agreement Up to 1.5 years

Google Ads and any Full Barion Pixel marketing functions must remain blocked until advertising consent is granted. If consent is rejected or withdrawn, SensNet sends the relevant denial signal and does not fire optional marketing events. The legal basis is consent.

Twitter/X widgets, embedded media or other third-party content can place identifiers or receive device and usage data. Such content does not contact its provider until the visitor grants social-media or equivalent optional consent.

Google Fonts are served from PCBNow's own server. Fonts or other assets requested directly from a third party load only after the relevant consent, unless they are strictly necessary and the required information is provided.

6. Browser controls

Most browsers allow cookies to be viewed, deleted or blocked. Browser controls are separate from the Website's consent settings. Blocking all cookies can cause the shopping cart, account, form and checkout functions to fail.

7. Updates and contact

SensNet may update this policy when the Website, providers or law changes. The current version and effective date will always appear at the top of this page. A new consent choice will be requested where a change requires it.
